Excellent work. I have almost exactly the same paint scheme on my round-top doors. Not nearly as well done, but the same scheme.

Howdy, Nice work. Is that a giant lazy Susan? Cool. Yes it is the disc off of a lazy susan...sort of...I made it out of cardboard( of course) and shelf mesh to fit on top of our deluxe scrabble turntable? I have been using it without the turntable for the photo sessions. Kev!

Nice paint job! I absolutely love this hirst arts stuff. There's only the high price, and the fact that I can craft most of their stuff myself using Scotty's and DMG's methods...

Nice paint job! I absolutely love this hirst arts stuff. There's only the high price, and the fact that I can craft most of their stuff myself using Scotty's and DMG's methods... I got into the Hirst Arts blocks before discovering this 2.5 approach. I had made some terrain using rudimentary home-grown techniques and lusted after the DwarvenForge dungeons I had seen. To me Hirst provided a cost-effective way to create DwarvenForge quality terrain, at a fraction of the cost. So I started buying molds and making stuff. When I did find this board and see this technique my response was basically to see how best to combine the Hirst arts, my own techniques and what I can learn from this site. I frankly have no idea what the result will be, other than terrain chaos I suppose, but I am enjoying learning all of the techniques I've encountered. To me that's probably near half the fun.

Is there any chance, someone on here with that mold would mind mailing me a few doors with the archways above them? I would paint them myself of course.

Howdy, Is there any chance, someone on here with that mold would mind mailing me a few doors with the archways above them? I found all of mine at a very reasonable price I thought... Castle KitsGive 'em a try, Kev!

Yeee-ah! I haven't looked into Hirst molds but I've seen what they can look like and they are friggin' cool. And these paint jobs just bring them out so well.
