I like your choice of bases, with the gold, ice and whatnot. Nice work.

Really nice work! Tell me about the lightning? hot glue?? I assume you used glitter for the gold? Well done! The lightening was from an old Emperor Palpatine figure I had. I cut it down and molded it to fit, painting it where it met the mouth. I used a big circle glitter and hit it with a varnish to mute the extreme shininess of the glitter and to hold it together. So far, I'm getting minimal flaking.

Nice job! A good selection of techniques shown here with a great adaptation of a "discount" dragon. Really like the coin effect.

I really need to start hitting those toy stores near by. saw some dinosaurs at the dollar store, so thats a start for me. for those wanting to know... huge and above in size cost a hell of alot of money. if you can create it, do it ! its just better to do that then buying them.
nice work there, im a huge fan of dragons and those looks awesome. to a point where i really want to make some.

DnDPaladin, and All: Here is a link to Safari Ltd.'s dragon web page catalog. They have added several new toys to their catalog within the past year. Also, check out the web catalogs of their competitors: Papo, and Schleich, for more dragon toys suitable for gaming purposes. They are definitely worth a look. For sizes of some of these toys, check out my blog page on dragon figures and substitutes, as I've posted photo's of them with a scale. Note that these toys can be re-painted, so don't let their colors put you off on using them in your games ( link to my blog page showing how I re-painted an ugly Swamp Dragon, converting it to an AD&D Copper Dragon). Cheers! PS: Schleich has some new Dragon toys just coming out. Here is a link to one which could make a very nice D&D Black Dragon, with a proper paint upgrade; there are links on the bottom of this web page to take you to the other new releases. No idea on cost, or availability, sorry. Cheers!
