Found some prehistoric model kits on clearance at Toys R Us called "Do & Discover Jurassic Action Model Kits" by Edu Science. They are currently being clearanced off for $2.38. I picked up 1 of each that they had left a Spinosaurus, Velociraptor, and Neanderthal. They also make a Brachiosaurus, T-Rex and Stegosaurus. The Spinosaurus and Velociraptor will make great Colossal revived Fossils from 3.5 edition D&D (Official article on Revived Fossils here: www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20041001a&page=3). They could also be used to make custom dragon skeletons with. The neanderthal was way bigger than I expected so I will probably use it for parts instead of as a mini. The Bases they come with are way too light and not wide enough for the model kits, except for the neanderthal, so the dinosaurs tends to tip over a lot. I will most likely rebase them to a colossal base later. All the kits are snap together. No glue required. The way the parts snap together lets you move the jaws, heads, legs, and arms (note: there's no arm movement on raptor) in various positions to pose them. The paint apps on them are great. I probably will leave them as is paint wise. Pics with a D&D human fighter and 2 D&D human skeleton minis for scale:

I could see using that neanderthal skeleton as the site of a major boss battle with some cult trying to resurrect an evil giant.

I like the scale. Dinosaurs and giants are supposed to be big. You could slap on some clay or hot glue to simulate some flesh. Make the skeleton more of a corpse.
