I own both books, but I have not made any creatures, yet. It is not terribly difficult, but they're large, and time-consuming. It looks as though some of the author's techniques could be adapted to smaller models, but I have not tried it yet. Check to see if you can get these books from your local libraries, or even through inter-library loans. Cheers!

The authors YouTube channel is where I got the idea for the dragon.
