I f'ing love the .99 Store. Todays find, faux marble drawer liner. AND, there are three colors to choose from including; gray, tan and ivory. Basically I took a roll of faux marble and 77'd it to a roll of rubber web drawer liner so that my tiles would have a little more stiffness. Then I started cutting out random shapes that I felt would be useful in a cavern adventure. I'm debating adding rocks and stalagmites for a true 3d effect but these are so thin, lightweight and easy to store that I may just call it a day and move on. total cost; $1.98, total time; 20 minutes. Next up outdoor tiles using the tan.

Would these be bendable / form-able if you ran a large wire through them and did not sandwich them to the rubber drawer liner?
Just curious - bendable or form-able cave walls would be amazing.
That has been in the back of my head after I saw Scotties cave wall Vid yesterday.
BTW great repurposeing of materials

The mat has its own non slip rubber mesh backing so I imagine it'd be too thick to form with. I have had much success (after viewing DMG's cavern video) using tin foil to form cavern shapes. I glue random garbage in piles, spray the entire tile and piles with 77 glue and then mold the tin foil over the piles to create walls and caverns. Spray it with primer and then paint away.
