My First door attempt I plan on putting some light brown highlights and a few black streaks to add detail.  The crate structure in the back was made from a few card stock prints I had left over from my last campaign and the netting was about $5 on Amazon and came out to be a good 5' x 5' netting.  



My first attempt at a brazer/oven.

Overall I feel this project is really coming alone well and I'm looking forward to sharing more pictures and ideas with you guys.  Happy Crafting guys

Looking good. Like the hallway pieces and what looks like a few sort of zig zag hall way pieces nice, looks like you are on your way to making a cool set with a lot of set up possibilities.

This site has some decent prop stuff for crafting in general I suggest a good look through

oh and by the by I did do some little dusting with the flat black after the crates where glued together and mounted on the painted cardboard  then I applied the netting the dusting made the crates a bit more used and traveled than the initial print made them look.  I have my printer set to best quality as well so the ink really made them look close to new and when you are building a sooty dungeon forge that tends to muck up the color scheme a bit lol.

Thanks I'm working on the cave area now.

Story for this build goes that they have been trapped in a being built plane that the devil and demons are constructing to replace the material plane called the Grey Scope. The players have only experienced two trips to this place and the first time two days was equal to two years. The demons in the actual world have began to take hold and this dungeon crawl is going to be to take back the largest Dwarven forge on the island and the only forge big enough and equipped to forge cold iron weapons to arm entire nation in a matter or months. So they will have to find an old rogues cave system which now will take them into a prison located under the forge it's self.

Okay guys I just finished this piece and I felt I had to post it first attempt at a lava pool and it turned out pretty decent. 



So I white glued down one piece of gift bag tissue paper after coating it in glue front and back I made sure to cut the paper a little to big to gain a good area to dry brush on.  I hit it with a layer of flat black then a little brown texture paint and a little spiced carrot very lightly at the high points of the paper then dry brushed flag red over it while it was still wet.  Thanks to DMScotty for the way to get the sponge to look like some good stone I've been using it a lot on these cave builds.
