Awesome, hadn't seen the temple encounter in a while. Cool to have a lot of your stuff in one place. And I'm totally jealous of your gaming space, btw.

Here is a shipwreck encounter I am putting together. The concept is from 'TSR 9185 - N4 -Treasure Hunt.' s1298.photobucket.com/user/Belatucadras/library/ShipwreckThe players awaken, shackled into a slave ship. The ship eventually crashes in a storm. They have to gather what supplies they can, avoid drowning and hypothermia, make their way to the beach only to fight the surviving slavers. The black thing in the background is the unfinished partial beach the players have to make their way to. The rocks and the beach are made from white styro then coated in hot glue for sturdiness and texture.

Your painting techniques are great, belatucadras. That is one of the things that really elevates one's craft, and I am jealous of those that have a natural talent for it. Also, holy crap your purple worm is magnificent! Is that tree bark that you used on it??

Very nice work. I am stealing the evergreen tree idea.
We dont typically do much for terrain, but I am leaning to start throwing suff out for some flavor.
I like the worm, look like Pine Bark chips ? What did you use for the Worms under belly ?

Thanks guys.
The Purple worm is all cardboard except the tree bark I used for back texture. Well that and hot glue. The belly is cardboard from a cereal box cut in strips then layered. The bark I pulled from a log on a log truck that was parked next to me in a scalehouse.

Kyral - The ship is a papercraft model from Fat Dragon. There are other papercraft companies like Dave Graffam that have some smaller ships as well. There is a blogger I found that is creating Lake Town from The Hobbit. All his models are free to download. In his set there are masted longboats and shorter paddle boats. He also has buildings and bridges and carts, etc. I did not put the ship together as was intended. I printed everything to cardstock then cut out the panels and glued them to thin corrugated cardboard. Then I hot glued the ship together, stared at it for a while and admired it, then hacked it in half and started chopping it up.
