Wish I saw this before I bought my paints.... But I did good by guessing and watching some of your other vids. Other thing if you run out of light or dark, a dab of black or white (to lighten or darken a color) will do the trick if you run out in the middle of a project. The Wal-Mart near me has the same size bottles of Apple Barrel for 50 cents

I recently started using another brand in addition to the ones mentioned above.
Michael's now has their own brand of Acrylic Paint called Craft Smart. It comes in 2 oz and 8 oz bottles like apple barrel. It runs about 66 cents a bottle, varies by location. They have sales on it though and you can get coupons for 30% off your entire purchase some weeks. Last week it was being sold half off for 33 cents a bottle and I stocked up on all the colors I didn't have and some duplicates of the most used got 30 bottle for around 10 dollars. It seems to be slightly better quality than apple barrel to me and it has a lot of the colors you can usually only get for 2 dollars in the Folk art brand. Like Neons and Metallics.
I particularly recommend their Metallic colors over folk arts. I was able to get better looking gold and silver with way less coats with the craft smart over Folk arts.

I have a friend that works at Michaels(about an hour away from where I live if I go to the one near Cleveland, I think there is one in Erie which is only like a 1/2 hour away). It might be an excuse to stop by and say hi to my friend.... I'll be working at a medical building for a few weeks which is close to Michaels. Would be a double plus good thing if she tells me to stop back in a week or so for a sale And still being new to the Craft I think cheap is good. Because I know I am not a ta great skill level yet and will make mistakes, thus needing to scrap some tiles and start over again.
