Very impressive collection of bits. This made me go to thingiverse and look. I am not going down that rabbit hole. A lot of impressive stuff there too. I like your mix of re-purposed, 3D printed and scratch-built. I shows ingenuity and resourcefulness. Thank you sir!

Wow how freaking cool is that! Neat! I am gonna save my spools If you want, I can post the walls and stairs on Thingiverse? They are the correct diameter to fit my spools. I just held them on with hot glue. Let me know.

I *think* I remember holding the bunk beds together with binder clips when I glued them together. Have you tried that? I am talking about before your remix Easy with your remix (that curufin pointed out to me) Oh. I see. Carry on.

I tried loctiite gel super control -- my favorite super glue. Problem is you have to use a bunch or something becasue of two wood grain surfaces touching each other. Then you have to hold it long enough at the same time have the legs the exact same distance to the floor so it isn't lop sided. Was a nightmare for me anyways.. but I am not that clever I *think* I remember holding the bunk beds together with binder clips when I glued them together. Have you tried that?

OH MY WOw nice there! I am going to print this Is that part of cthulhu's tentacles? The file I used was called "tentacle pawn" It printed pretty well, even with the thin tips, on my printer. I'll paint it and post it.

Gunther, my dwarf cleric, was killed by an animate, tentacled altar in a watery temple... (I bet you know where we are) Inspired by the tragedy, I mashed this thing together. It printed just fine for me, but a fine person, brimstone236 "repaired" it for me too. Here's the link www.thingiverse.com/thing:1885662and repaired www.thingiverse.com/thing:1885732

White glue doesn't work on PLA. For all my bunk beds I used E6000. Print out Wilmanric's Remix of the legs...that will make it a hundred times easier to glue. I use Loctite Go2Glue. Works great on PLA.

Wilmanric, did you resize those flames? I printed a firepit today in black and it came out perfect. Tealight fits in it great. I switched to translucent filament and started printing the flames and realized it was printing them larger than the firepit base. I didn't do any modifications to it, I just assumed they were sized properly. Hmm. It's been months since I designed/printed the flames. I may have done some scaling of the flames at the printer, but I can't say for sure. Sorry about the wasted time and filament. I'll look at them again and maybe upload an accurate .stl.

The blue guys are unpainted "blazing skeletons" from the Castle Ravenloft boardgame. I bought them loose from a reseller. I didn't paint them because I have painted ones and the clear blue looks "frozen." The firepits worked out great. I'm very happy with the effect. Printed the pits in black, drybrushed with grey, printed the flames in translucent PLA. Really great combo 3D printed project. They flicker nicely too... I need to print both of those. I have translucent filament and tea lights So awesome! Can you explain the technique you used to paint the translucent flame thingies? jennifer -- the flames are not painted at all. Just printed. The tealight does all the work.

Yeah. My school district ordered about 10,000 HP Chromebooks. They came in big boxes and I work in IT. I grabbed A LOT of it and some foam too. If you contact your local schools, they'll probably let you go through their cardboard dumpsters. Lots of material to find.

Wow, those look really deadly. Is that rust, or blood and gore I see on the blade edges?
Using a hole punch to make the blade teeth is genius! Rust, blood, etc. They just needed to be "old" in my mind. Thanks!

Thanks, its a start. If I can get top and side views of stuff I can figure the stuff out. My rifle so far if looking beat up like I wanted. On Thingiverse, there's a thing called Thingiview -- you can rotate the object.
