agreed and thats what i use. but it too cumbersome to travel with. i look like im moving out of my home every times. this being that my box is actually quite big. the bigger the box gets the harder it is to move it. thats why im looking for something better when travelling a lot.

yeah, dont ever just make regular inns... always make something out of it. its just that much funy when you get there. this gives me an idea for next game though... an inn with 12 floor. labyrinth style inn. the inn keeper is actually a mage that keeps some travellers for his research by leaving them lost in his inn labyrinth.
that would be something.

sotf, what do you take me for... teachers take it away type ? i would never touch anybodies dices. i'd simply not allow him to use said dices if i think they might be too unbalanced. i have a box full of dices... i literally bought 10 sets of dices. i have dices for everyone if need be. i've allowed custom dices at my table more then once. but they were all bought from companies. none were hand made by the players. i'm more inclined to trust a big company who manufactures with heavy machinery then what a player can create by his own hand.

hot glue is never too durable for small things. my potions on my tables all broke down after a while. but if your hot glue is hot enough you may be able to add durability if you stick and move the piece around so the hot glue actually get more surfaces.

i also started seeking other methods and found out that toolboxes with handles and wheels can get you very far if you are a travelling DM like i am !

be gentle and it should be fine. water based varnish against water based paint can screw each others, but i found out that if you go slowly and not push too much on the brush then everything will be fine. spray paint shouldn'T be a problem at all. that stuff is really holding off if you ask me. still i'd be gentle on the brush just to make sure.

dragon... its not a question of rolling all the numbers... you have to roll a dice about 100 times to "start" testing it. note all numbers that rolled. and overall... for the dice to be balanced... it has to roll up every numbers about 5 times each. but 100 is still too low to determine that. its a start but it should really be 10k times to get real results.
what people do not understand is... even regular dices are unbalanced cause of the numbers. after all, removing parts of the dice to make numbers is actually unbalancing the dice. its all a question of weight. how that weight is thrown around. the more weight on one side, the more frequently it will end up flat on that side. thats why cheaters dices are just weighted in dices.

the paper work is quite nice. that should be given to DMScotty and DMG for them to put on their sites. so that people could have a viewable files without the need for the videos to be there as well.
your tiles are great. but to be honest... at one point you will have much more then one box for it all. a single room wont be enough at that point.
Advice: do not stop at rooms with entrances in the middle man. thats just too generic.
thats why the lego route as i call it, is a good way to make dungeons. as they are exactly how you want them, without the hassle of creating numerous tiles. it can even create circles, triangles and half circle and half triangle rooms.

beware... on my table i wouldn'T allow custom made dices... simply because of the unbalancement in them. heck even regular bought dices have small unbalancing so i cannot imagine a custom made dice. which i did create using wood when i was younger. i'd simply cut a wooden block and simply burn (my mother had a burning tool) the numbers.

you guys say it cost nothing... but in reality hot glue sticks aren't cheap. they are probably the biggest cash heavy material... i mean compared to other stuff i found... hot glue cost me a lot. with resin the bucket you buy for 15$ or so... can cast about more then hot glue will.
looking at price versus quantity i can already tell that resin cost less. but to be honest i dont wanna cast with resin, take s afuck ton of time and im too lazy to go the distance. so for lazy and hasty people, i think hot glue is still the better choice.
though i wouldn'T cast in low temp... it has faults in it way too fast and you have to let the hot glue gun sit to heat back up after a few squirts. high temp is definitely looking better and big glue gun with high temps seems definitely much better to do casting.
