OK, two of my ideas bombed out for making a cone. Any easy way to make a cone out of something with a toilet paper base? It doesn't need to go all the way up to a point, just trying to do some contour to it?
I know the easiest way would take the most time. Cut a few 1'' circles, glue them, cut a few .75'' circles, lather rinse repeat. I might actually to that later on and retire my current pieces as cargo containers.
What I have now is just 1'' high 1'' diameter "kegs".
And BTW DM Scotty, I had to buy one of the glue guns with the guard on the nozzle. Lucky it was just cheap rubber and was able to cut it off with a razor knife. I was sort of bummed that I would have had to miss out on some the hot glue texture stuff.

Toilet paper roll (cardboard). Cut a straight line from top to bottom. Open it up. Roll from top left corner towards bottom right corner. Glue. Cut off at the bottom to make flat. Cone.

Laying in bed last night I had another idea, but not sure my skill levels would be up to it.... Actually two ideas for two slightly different looks. Based off the idea of the bunch of smaller circles inside a larger circle of cardboard. Not sure of the "solid factor", it might be too weak to use. Using the glue a .75'' circle/ring onto some 1''rings and contouring it up a bit. Roll out some wet toilet paper on the over laps, which IMO might smooth out some of the harshness of the contours. Depending on the thickness of the wet TP rolls I can at least visualize it being a decent exhaust or bell shape (depending on what look you are going for). Later on I will try to do some experiments with this method as well as the one that will most likely work better which is the one you guys suggested. And a side note, I don't have curbside recycling at my place; I put my stuff in a garbage bag, throw it in the shed and hit the scrap yard for metals and community drop off for stuff like plastic. Not exactly sure if the scale will look right but will hopefully get around to farting around with trying to make a spot light out of the bottle of a spice jar.
