Here are a couple of WIP photo's of my current dungeon project. Modular Dungeon WIP Photos.
So I borrowed some ideas from a lot of different folks on the board, to make these. Base's for the tile are cheap vinyl floor tiles from Lowe's 38 cents a tile. Got this idea from sgtslag I like the weight it adds to the dual layers of dollar store foam-core. Also I can use blue painters tape to connect the dungeon to stop it from shifting do to my group knocking stuff around. Went with foam since I really like the ease at which it cuts and have been impressed with the carving that different folks have done DMNate and others. I went with the foam craft bricks from DMZook's video I thought that set up was pretty cool, but I still wanted to keep to a more 2.5D feel with dual layer foam I still have a about a quarter inch wall along the edges for ease of play. I toyed with the idea of grids since I will have set around for awhile but after a few test corridors I said screw it and going gridless. I hope to finish black coating them today, which has to be done by hand since the foam bricks will melt if they take to much black spray paint. Doing a light coat though since the texture paint, which has a different excellerant than black bomb hides any of the small light spots.

Rooms are still drying after the black coat, hit the stuff I painted last night with texture paint and added a photo to my WIP folder. Time to go do the V-Day stuff with the wife. Wife agro = no crafting for awhile. lol

Updated the WIP shots, finished texture painting, shading, and first layer of gray. I'm debating on doing a round of dry brush highlights or should I just leave them alone, what do you guys think? I have also made ascending and descending stairs, they are awaiting another painting marathon, also mocking up some single doors, unfortunately some of my other doorways are off by just a smidgen so I have to work on my dimensions of the stone work around the doors or just abandon the idea. I have a few other rooms and long corridors in various stages of prep. Updated WIP PhotosI'm going to try and get more done this week since I have an order of figs from Reaper on the way, for the myself and the other PC's in my groups current Pathfinder game, the conversion and painting will take over my hobby time for awhile.

Those look good, man! I bet they'll hold up for a long time.
Yep, a couple times during our game I had to hold up a tile or two to show what was printed on it. Players couldn't see because the walls were too high. Always a design consideration, for sure.
Your steps leading up and down are nice, well cut designs.
Have fun- Z
