Hey Guys, I wanted to share a new idea i had and see if anyone had done anything similar. let me know what you think. So i bought these mini barrels for dnd,(still unpainted because im a lazy painter) And i decided i wanted to make a barrel stand for them so here is the result and some pics of the process. MATERIALS:I used a small rotary tool for this little project, some Popsicle sticks of varying sizes, and some matchsticks. I used superglue for adhesive. Those barrels are rad! Where did you get them? I bought these barrels at an AC Moore arts and craft superstore, they came two in a pack for .50$ that's where i got my craft sticks and whatnot. they have a bunch of other stuff like mini haystacks and foliage aswell. the brand of these barrels is call Woodsies, i think im gona try and cut out the middle man and maybe order from them directly for a cheaper price.

Good idea, looks really nice and is going to look even better painted! Before painting the barrels, I suggest taking an ink pen and drawing lines for the planks. It only takes a little time, but I think makes them look a lot better. Be sure to use a ruler though, some of mine ended up with some crazy curved planks.

That is a great idea, i also thought of maybe making those lines with my wood burning tool as it has a very small pointed end for detail work but your method can save some time!

oooh, wood burner, that sounds fun... You would probably have better control with that than an ink pen.
