So... I found DM Scotty on youtube, while looking for ways to revitalize my encounters. We had been using a grid system, and things were becoming very robotic. The players moved in predictable patterns, through the predictable dungeons I would produce. With grids, all of your rooms have to be measured in 5 foot square increments, and if not, say you use a circle, you end up with a lot of partial squares that can't really be used, without adding MORE house rules (Woah, run on sentence). But anywho, I digress. The DMscraft method of creating dungeon tiles inspired me to ditch the squares using the grids (pardon the pun), and go gridless. So here, without any further ado, is my first attempt at 2.5D Tiles. (Sorry for the cat bum) Below you can see a second one on the go. Anyway, any constructive feedback would be very welcome. I've seen a lot of professional looking pieces on the galleries around here, so I hope my inability doesn't inspire a flame war...

Welcome to the forum and congrats on a nice entrance to the gridless 2.5d system! I love the house, the way you did the trim makes it pop out nicely. Can't wait for a painted version, see you then.
