I bought a set of 12 steel wax carving tools, for use with "Magic Sculpt" epoxy putty. (I got 5# of that stuff too...) I didn't like the little plastic roll that the tools were stored in (it was kinda cheap) and I wanted the tools at hand. I know that I need to protect the little pointy ends, and I know that I want to keep the tools dry, so, I made this. It's a jar with some foam on the bottom. I filled the jar part way with rice to absorb any of the moisture that might still be on the tips. I live in Arizona, so its generally not very humid. The rice should stay dry and keep its moisture absorbing powers!

I use the quart plastic containers that soup from a Chinese restaurant comes in to store my various crafting tools!
