Hello everyone! Its been a while since Ive posted, but I have a new project that just finished up for a buddy: Here is the original that you can buy: Terrible, I know! My coworker gave me this to paint, and first of all Ive never painted something this big, but I saw most of the repaint vids for these on Youtube. Not hard. Scrubbed him wiht soap and hit with a black primer spray. Prime it brown! Airbrush for speed and nice gradients, and a standard marine for scale: Final product, this took me a month mainly because it was not exactly fun: Definitely for display, the paint scratches off pretty easily wiht other parts of it rubbing against the other. Not viable for an actual toy for the kids. Anyway, thanks for looking, I hope you all have fun painting regardless of the mini!

Beautiful work. Superb workmanship.
Your work matches a trend I've noticed in many of the painter's YouTube channels: they are primarily painting figures larger than 32mm! I do not believe it is possible to paint very high levels of detail on 25-28mm figures. I am not sure everyone is catching onto the fact that they are painting larger scale minis...
I typically paint 25-28mm mini's. I occasionally watch some painting videos, mostly on the new paints (Contrast, from GW, and Speed, from Army Painter). It seems like the smaller mini's are being abandoned by the YouTuber's. Cheers!

Thank you!!
Im not a fan of the larger stuff after painting this dude, but when you end up painting some of the 40k tanks and warmachines they can get huge so I guess theres little difference in a way.
I still have 25mm Ral Parthas that Im more excited to work on!
Thank you for your kind reviews!
