Hello!
My first completed 3d print that Ive painted is a test piece for my buddy's Battletech campaign he is going to start, I'm not too well versed in the lore but here is a basically clanless mech I got from Thingiverse:
Fresh out of the resin pond!
All painted up with a random airbrush camo(the speckles were intentional lol) hit with AP Deepshader and drybrushed with bleached bone, not much but there you go! The back, its a little lumpy and curved, not sure how to remedy that but you can see the many support marks along his back. Somehow it bulges I guess when its pulling from the FEP film at the bottom? The support structures are critical and a little frustrating, as one in the wrong place could destroy a mini print. I'll post a collection of mistakes and see about describing the reasons and remedies soon. Thanks for checking in!

I think overall, the mini looks good! I still haven't bought a 3d printer, but hope to get one sometime soon.

I've done the math, on both a 3D printer, and a laser cutter/engraver... Even though I am an avid tabletop wargamer, I can't justify either one.
I do, however, really enjoy seeing what others are doing with them. Thanks for posting. I guess I'm a 3D printing voyeur. Until they make that illegal, I will enjoy it, vicariously! Cheers!
