Hey all. I did some small stuff today as I’m currently working on finding a job and editing my third video (posted video #2 in which I make a simple tower). So I spent a few whipping these up. They’re based on another video I found here from Miniwar Gaming but I also added bases to them and yea lights like Jeremy Black Magic Craft. Enjoy! imgur.com/a/qVzIT34

I do wargames with plastic Army Men figures and vehicles. I, too, used the polyfilla stuffing for making smoke: I spray-painted tufts of it, with black paint. The fibers never really turned black, just varying shades of gray. They work superbly. When a vehicle gets destroyed, I put a tuft of gray-ish polyfilla on it, and it looks like it's burning. The wrecks make great cover for infantry, so having a burning Jeep, truck, or tank, on the battlefield, serves a few different purposes, including blocking Line of Sight, which can be critical in a war game. I don't use lights, in my game's terrain. I only use static terrain -- gotta draw the line somewhere, and that is where I pounded my stake into the ground. They look cool, just not for my games -- great effect, though! Cheers!

I fully get that. That’s one of the things I enjoy about this hobby so much is the variance! Keep on doin your thing and like David S. Pumpkins, I’ll do mine!
