Rather than clog up my old post with yet more clutter, I figured I'd start a new thread for this:
They'll probably not be to everyone's taste, but if you need something quick and easy, they might fit the bill.

I would still fill in the edges with one of several methods such as glue and sand or a glue gun or any of a number of techniques. It will make them last longer as well as preserve the thickness.

Yep, any of those would work nicely, but my own preference is for super quick speed builds (as you might have guessed ). Probably the best option would be to use foamboard - but I figured we all have some single corrugated cardboard lying around - so lets put it to some use

Here's a quick look at what should be coming next (hopefully sometime this coming week if I can get the video filmed):

That's three of my favourite flavours of dungeon eye candy. Can't wait!

Love this stuff, Kris! Simple, but highly effective! Without the videos demonstrating how to use your textures, I would never figure it out; with the videos, I see the light! Fantastic work, Kris. Please, keep it up. Cheers!

He saves time on terrain and focuses painting awesome minis.
I am addicted to drybrushing terrain, it is all very time consuming! :-)

I am amazed at how quick, and easy, Kris's techniques are. I love good-looking terrain, but I don't have enough time to build it using traditional techniques. My Hobby To-Do List is long, while my Hobby Time Sheet, is short. Kris saves me time, while still producing quality work. Gotta love that!
Hoping to post some photos of some columns I am adapting his techniques to, in the next week. I plan on trying his pillar textures on some pill bottles, to make shorter columns; also planning to apply them to taller plastic bottles, ideally sized, and shaped, for taller columns, say 30-40 scale feet tall. Photo's will be posted. Cheers, Kris!

I'm looking forward to the pic's sarge, and yeah ...I'd also love to have tons of 'proper' terrain and props ...but time (not to mention storage, transportation, and especially money) can be bit of an issue (though in my case I also have to draw the textures - but once they're done there's no limit to how much stuff I can build). I also love being able to just throw a bunch of these into a box and not have to worry about them. Similarly, it's not a big deal if one or two get damaged (thanks to clumsy players) at the table ...as it doesn't take much effort to replace them (to be honest, I kinda view my own tiles as semi-disposable, which is why I don't bother covering the exposed corrugation and so on - but that's just me ).

Hmmm... the pics work for me (and on different devices, and without being logged in to all my various accounts). Strange :S
