I use my kitchen table for crafting. Was thinking of a good way I could protect it while crafting.
My idea is to buy a sheet of hard board. ($13 for 4x8 foot). Then cut it down to size and put some quarter round along the edges. That way it could hang over the table, a somewhat snug fit, keeping it in place.
Any other better ideas? I suppose a good tablecloth would work. Just thought this way might be less awkward as it is stabilized in place on table. You could also cut on the hardboard.

I would recommend a vinyl tablecloth, and a cutting board. Much simpler to implement, easier overall, and very inexpensive. Cheers!

Howdy,
How about one of those self healing mats?
