About a week ago my best friend said to me that he wanted to start sci-fi Wargaming.I wanted to help him with his new hobby so...I gave him a link to Grimdark Future..(thank you Wyloch) I want to craft some terrain and I also want to make some vehicles and paper minis, because I don't want to spend lots and lots of money... Any ideas?

Something that might help you out for vehicles is checking out some papercraft designs, and resizing them to fit our scale. Then trace or paste them onto cardstock. I'm sure you can find sci-fi tanks out there, or you can do regular tanks and trick them out with sci-fi stuff.

Try to make some ruins from foamcore or corrugated cardboard, like in one of dmscottys video. A few years ago there where some great cardstock models on rpgnow availiable. Some of them dissaperars, but maybe they still available on rpgnow. Take a look at: www.genetmodels.com/free-stuff/ It was sometimes very hard to fold and create (tires!!!!I hated them). Take a look at 2010-2011 models. There where some robot/terminator like models. Trilateral Union flyer and vehicle. You print it on light cardstock (try to aim for a correct scale, I usually had to scale them down a little bit). Worldworks games had some cool models, too, but i dont know if they still sell.

I second Genet Models. I've bought a bunch of his minis, has lots of vehicles, which while some are complex to build, they end up being very good models!
World Works is another place for good models, but the owner of WWG stopped making terrain and moved on to video games. So while the site is currently up, there have been a few outages and I'm not completely sure you can still buy the PDFs.

While not a free ruleset, one of the great ones that can be started with is Rogue Stars as another option. Skirmish games tend to work a lot better early on because you don't need as many minis...and Rogue Stars works for just about any scifi minis you want to use.

I'm with you!
There used to be a site called Paperhammer in the late 90s that had templates for Spacemarine vehicles and such and I used them to make 3 rhinos, part ofd a drednaught and a leman russ from foam board and thin card.
I'll throw up pics later today and see if I cant find some of the old printouts.

I love wargaming... Only problem is that I don't do SF wargaming. Wish I did! I truly wish I could add something useful to your query, but, alas, all I have is -- this: a search for SF props on RPGNow.com... Wish I had more. Best wishes! Cheers!

Almost forgot!
I want to make something clear about the design of my army...
I want to make them with an intresting power sourse in mind..so..I created a power sourse called "Power Crystals" and they're red crystals that power the robots and their vehicles.
Ok,back to crafting!

DM Scotty used those mushed glass beads as markers for something in one of his videos. They're not crystals, per se, but they're cheap to buy, available at Michael's, in the USA (check the floral supplies area). They're mushed, glass marbles, available in various colors. If you don't mind their round shapes, they could be quite inexpensive, and nice looking, IMO. Cheers!

I call those flat glass marbles, but some people call them flat glass gems. They seem to be called flat glass pebbles in the UK, but that term applies to something different in Australia.
