Friends daughter at work just bought all new tables etc for her living room...she saved me 3 huge leaf bags of various shapes of styrofoam! I am seeing cliffs, castle walls...all kinds of wonderful builds! No more hoarding styrofoam, I have enough for years!!

If you don't already have a foam cutting table, you might want to look into either purchasing one, or building one. They can produce some pretty amazing things. +1 to looking forward to seeing what you produce out of this score! Cheers!

I bought a hot foam knife...smells horrible but seems to do the trick...have made some awesome rock formations with it. Man does melting foam stink though, and at outside temps way below zero no way am I opening windows! Have discovered in sub zero temps spray paint dries almost instantly though, that I HAVE to go outside to do.

One thing that will help a little with the spray paint is to get some hot water in a pan, (not boiling), just what ever is coming out of your tap and place the spray paint cans in it for about a minute or two. This will heat the paint and help it spray better while outside. Be careful doing this though, you don't want the water too hot, that's why you only want it from the tap. If the water is too hot to put your hand in, don't put the paint can in.
Also be careful when cutting the foam with a hot tool, the fumes which smell horrible are toxic!
