Hey guys. I have been crafting a lot with foam and especially styrofoam because my work got in a large number of computers which came packed in form molded white styrofoam. They told me I could have as much as I wanted so I been converting them slowly to Frostgrave walls and castle walls like this, which I intend to make for me to use and some to sell as well : Now, for my past stuff I have been using mod podge matte coating to seal them, and it works fairly well for adding strength but the problem with that stuff is, it still retains a bit of tackyness to it, sometimes even weeks later. Is there a better option for clear coating that will not stick on itself? Something that will not stick together with other walls if they happen to touch. I have heard mention some kind of floor shiner, can anyone elaborate on that.

Pledge Floor Shine, available at Wal-Mart, and most supermarkets, in the cleaning aisle. Its intended purpose is to provide a clear, shiny floor surface, which is durable. It is frequently mixed with acryilc paints, to form what is known as, "Magic Wash".
It is a clear, high gloss, acrylic coating, water based, and highly durable. It can be thinned with water, but to me, that is foolish. I apply it full-strength, to gain maximum benefit. It will cost you around $6 for a large bottle. Forgot to mention, it dries in about 15 minutes. Wait a couple of hours before painting over it, though, to be safe. Cheers!
