Here's my next post for the group. This time it's my recreation of the Varnhold stockade from Kingmaker book #3 (i.e. "The Varnhold Vanishing"). This time the pictures were taken during the actual gaming session. One thing to be aware for my creations is that portability is crucial. We tend to rotate who hosts games, so my creations must be easily moved and re-assembled. Top down view. The roof of the blockhouse on the left can be removed to show the second floor layout. The second floor can also be removed to show the first floor. Those strange contraptions with the circular silver base and the clear square thingy on top are my custom built flying stands. I'll show those in more detail in another post. Here's a better shot from the same angle as the picture above. You can see the arrow slits I built into the blockhouse, and how I attached the walls to the corner towers and blockhouse. When I arrived on site, my original walls were too long for the table. So, I grabbed some scissors and trimmed the walls down a couple inches on each end and voila, it fit perfectly. Yeah cardboard! The party is getting ready to assault the blockhouse in this pic. I wonder what's in store for them.

Are those collapsible antenna glued to metal juice lids being used for flight platform? That is a fantastic idea! Love the fort too, but after seeing those brilliant flight platforms, I swooned.

Very nice, I changed the Varnhold story up a bit and had the town under a curse instead of deserted. The Gnome archeologist from the first Kingmaker AP had befriended the players but always causes trouble. The Gnome had stolen a piece of jewelry from the Lich’s tomb and awoken it. The Gnome gave the jewelry to Lady Varn who became ill and died. She awoke as a terrible undead under servitude to the Lich and the players are trying to break the curse. They are slowly uncovering the history of the Lich and her link to the jewelry. The jewelry is modestly valuable but not magical. Ironically this ordinary piece of jewelry sets this whole terrible tragedy into motion.

belatucadras - Your close on what the flying stands are made of, but not exact. I'll put a post on it, in much further detail, in few days.
Also, what's the story on your handle? There's gotta be a story for that name. :-)
