I shared these in Tauster's thread a little while ago, but thought I would add a spot for them since I got them painted. These are some quick and easy pasta mushrooms for creating mushroom forests fast. I got a bag of Orecchiette pasta and some plastic drinking straws. Start by holding the drinking straws over a candle to slightly deform the straw. Next, I applied a little hot glue texture to the straw. Simply cut the straws and hot glue the pasta "caps" to the the straw. Instant mushrooms. Hot glue them to a base. Paint up. I applied a couple hot glue dabs to the caps of a few random mushrooms to form the "bumps". They look great and go with all the other mushrooms I have crafted and printed.

The Spider Mushrooms were 3d printed. They aren't my designs, but I knew I had to have them when I saw them. They will be a great surprise when my players go on a mushroom hunt.

Wow, those are insanely gorgeous! I feel like I'm at Disneyland or something! Wish I lived nearby to play in your games.

...glad to see some familiar shapes there. Fantastic, all of them, and those crawlshrooms are completely new fodder for thought. I'll have to rummage through my box of insect-minis and make a few of them, to bring them on just when my players think they've seen every sick fungus critter in my arsenal. But you know what I like best? The ones with the split stems (behind th two minis in front center). Haven't thought of split stems before, and they look absolutely cool!
