Wow. Amazing figurine especially for a first effort. It looks suspiciously friendly for a red dragon from its right profile. :-)
I am looking forward to seeing it painted up. I am envious of sculpting capabilities like yours. All of my sculpts end up looking like they were in a Star Trek transporter accident.

You started sculpting, chose a gargantuan red for your first project and then came out with that beauty?!¿? Wow. I can only echo vepr, especially the Star Trek part. Mostly, I consciously try to sculpt a particular creature... Star Trek happens. My biggest sculpting successes are heavily based on luck. That's probably why I do so many abberations: They don't have a known anatomy that can be compared with whatever I came up with. It might look cool, but if somebody asked me beforehand to create it, I would have cobbled together something ...different. Starting out with a concrete picture in mind and then actually sculpting it are most often two totally different things for me, so hats off to your first try. Can't wait to see your next sculpts!

amazing!! it's far beyond what is expected of a beginner on the con note:the tail scaly spikes have a (very)high risk of breaking in the hand of enthusiastic players

And oddly enough, the tail spines turned out to be kinda flexible. It's the wing and elbow spikes that keep wanting to break off. And the front legs...

"the tail spines turned out to be kinda flexible." that's my concern it should not be flexible(sculpey don't have a "warning point"it bend easily and a milimeter more it break)
"It's the wing and elbow spikes that keep wanting to break off. And the front legs..."
the wing: it's because you didn't armature the wing the "right way" the tipe of armature you used is the greenstuff way to do it you should have used"soda can sheet armature"
the elbow and the leg: i presume you didn't prepare the armature properly, you have different way to do it, if you want i can go in the detail, but in short you baked it several time so the armature became loose in the sculpey and now it doesn't hold anything
i really appreciate your work even if i sound like a "know it all douche"

If you make another dragon, one thing that a lot of people do for wings that tends to work a lot better than just sculpting the panels is to work out your wing and have the entire flaps be parchment and you can get a bit of work on along the bones with a wire frame. It tends to let you have that translucent quality bat and dragon wings look best with.

I would compare that with my first attempt at sculpting a dragon, but I would be too embarrassed. Very solid work. I can't wait to see what you do in the future.
