Hi folks! So after a few weeks of binge-watching DM Scotty, DMG, Wyloch, and Black Magic, I decided it was time to trade in my dry erase board for something a little more immersive. Since I'm working on game prep for a new campaign anyway, now seemed like the perfect time. After a quick shopping trip to replace craft supplies still packed away after moving, I finally got started last night. And here are my first* pieces! *Technically my first completed pieces. The first piece I started is still in progress, waiting for the base to dry so I can continue. Now let's see if I remember how to post images... Edit: Thanks, Guillaume!

are the cracks in the stone free handed? how long did it take to paint them? Yep, completely freehand. As for how long it took to paint the two pieces, maybe about an hour and a half, including the hand-painted black base coat? I wasn't really watching the clock, but I don't think it could have been more than 2 hours.

Good job on the stairs they look great! I think once you go from dry erase to crafting its hard to go back as its very satisfying to see a vision take form from imagination.

Very impressive work! Your shading painting is quite good. Both the stairs, and the pool, are excellent quality. Congratulations on two jobs done exceptionally well. Welcome to the craft! Cheers!

I love those staircases. It is amazing how much sense of depth they have.

Really like the stairs and pool. Paint work is great. Only minor critique, and I do mean MINOR, would be to darken the steps at the bottom of the spiral and add a little extra highlight to the top steps. Again there's nothing wrong with the awesome look. Also, they appear, to my eyes at least, to be cut perfectly, which is something I always struggle with. Probably the main reason I never tried Wyloch's tiles. All that math and measuring. Overall, great! the PCs will love it.
