Well, I used to be a fairly regular poster here, with lots of input on crafting and gaming. But a couple years ago I got laid off and decided to become a writer. I wrote an epic fantasy series (The War Chronicles, available on Amazon ) and moved from Colorado to Arkansas where we spent much of the past 18 months building a house. Well, the writing thing hasn't quite taken off yet, so I'm back in the workforce. On the other hand, we have finished the house and just yesterday I finally started unpacking my gaming supplies. It shouldn't be long before I'm back to making terrain. Hope to be posting more photos.

Welcome back!
I have left my housebuilding craft break behind me, but it took more time than I had anticipated, so keep the building-momentum up after moving in. Some of those unfinished thing linger around for months after moving in (or years, as friends told me), and the new craft corner shouldn't be one of those!

Thanks for the welcome backs... I have been busting my butt working on the house for months now. We left the basement completely unfinished to save money (and time for moving in) and I knew it was going to be a while since all I had in the basement was a toilet, a concrete floor and some sheetrock. The windows didn't have casing and the "closet" was a big hole under the stairs. It took me weeks to finish the bathroom, then more weeks to put in flooring, casing, trim, doors, paint and other stuff. Then I had to build a wet bar where I had left some capped off pipes for that purpose. I finally finished all that two weeks ago. Last week was all about moving furniture in, and this week was unpacking boxes that had been stacked either in storage or in our garage since Sept of 2015. Wow... It will take at least a few more weeks to get things fully unpacked and set up, but at least now I can get to my crafting supplies and have a place (actually a couple of places) to work on things. Trying to decide what my first project will be. I'll post it here as soon as I know.
