What do you use to remove the seams from the reaper bones minis? I can get them for the most part with an exacto, but on my mage for example the seam lines are not level with the surface of the mini. I'm thinking I may need some wet/dry sand paper. Any other ideas?

I use a combination of an Xacto knife, files and sand paper, just try to be careful that you don't add extra scratches to the surface of the mini.

I usually use an xacto knife on 'em....I had been trying to use files and paper on them as well, but I got to the point where it felt like to much work for too little results =/ I love the models and the pricepoint on them, just not as "anal" about those mold lines as I am on pewter, resin or other types of platic models...

I just use and Xacto knife for the obvious flash.

I tried using my uber fine stuff and that did not work so well, its why I was thinking of trying the wet dry.

I love the price on them too and I am ended up with tons of them, unfortunately I am very AR about seam lines, maybe I just have to force myself to give up some control when it comes to the bones? *laughs*

I make sure I cut the paper down to a very small piece before I start using it! About 2 x 2 inches or smaller. Course I'm also a carpenter, not by trade, but have worked enough jobs doing it and done it enough as a hobby that I'm pretty good. Course, my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be for close up stuff, so I've got to use all kinds of magnifiers from readers to hobby magnifying glasses! Also, I did scale modelling before I got into gaming!

I had my husband pick me up some 800 grit wet dry sandpaper (I needed it for another project anyway) and it is *fantastic* on the seam lines! I did my red dragon and my dark elf the other night and oh sooo easy! I was able to get in the recesses of my mages clothing with no problems. I think I will stick to using this. I hate removing the lines with my xacto and it slices through the bones soo easy! I tried using my files, but they kept leaving gouges. I think I will be more inclined to buy the bones now that this works so well for them.
