Looks like somebody wants to compete with Dwarven Forge!... Go for it! His business model is... Strange. He could use some competition, IMO. These are in the same league as his. Cheers!

Top quality again! I agree, if you don't sell them already, you should consider it. Or at least sell the molds, then I could make some.

Your stuff speaks of HIGH production values. I would love to get into resin, but the initial outlay for materials keeps me away. One thing I wanted to point out though, your tiles, from a molding standpoint are fantastic, but the care you have put into painting them is what really sets them off. You should post a couple of unpainted pics. Then people could really see the life you breathe into them. The lava tiles are particularly excellent, as painting fire or hot liquids is not easy. Keep the pics coming. Just great! Exalt my friend!

They are simply perfect. I'm planning to try resin in the end in this year. Is good to see how they look beautiful. Gets me inspired.
Can I ask you how did you make your molds? I got a lot of information about the resin itself, and about blue silicon that is easy to obtain here. But almost nothing about what to use to make the first molds. People just say "get the piece you want to copy, but the pieces the use as sample are normally plastic or wood carved. I'm confuse with this part.

Thanks for the compliments! drwillsdc - the biggest outlay is the initial molds you buy. After that, resin is fairly cheap. You can get it at your local Micheals or Hobby Lobby using the 40% off coupon for about 12$. Clear resin is about the same. I use Aluminite RC3 for most of my casting. It sets quickly in about 7 minutes and you have a 2-3 minute work time with it. I like it because the viscosity is very thin which makes it easy to pour and for air bubbles to escape. For clear resin, I use the slow setting stuff - no particular brand name. Just whatever is the cheapest. Miles - Mold making is fairly easy, but messy! I didn't use any special silicon except what I found at my local Hobby Lobby. I made a mold box out of legos, hot glued it and the piece I wanted to make a mold of and then poured the silicone mix. I did not do anything special to the object I was molding. Its really quite easy, just messy. Here is a great tutorial. Some before pictures on the lava tiles: Pre-painted and clear resin. Painted with clear resin tinted for lava. Most of this stuff I sell on Ebay. Especially since I started with 3D printing.

The only thing with the resin is that it looks almost to still for the rest of the terrain. Dab on some modpodge normally works to add some surface disruption.

How would I find your stuff on eBay? Do you sell it unpainted? Not that I don't like your painting, it's fantastic! I just like to do my own stuff. One question, how thick are your tiles? Looks like it might be compatable with mine. Check out "Crom...I'm trapped in a dungeon". Thanks for the tutorial. I might make some molds of some of my stuff to speed up construction. Again, love it!

Great looking tiles. I bet you're selling them very well. I've thought about putting together a set of Wyloch style modular tiles, but the number of times required wad more than I was willing to commit to. The variety of times you showed us making me think twice though.

drwillsdc - I checked out your "Crom... I'm trapped in a dungeon" thread. Nice work btw. I dont think my tiles would be compatible with yours d/t I designed them to be compatible with Dwarven Forge tiles. Yours are based off the 1.5 system. I sent you a PM.

Saw that. Yes, probably not, but I love the paint job on the pics. You should definitely charge a premium if you sell the painted version. People are getting quality there.
