I have been gearing up to run a D6 space campaign. For the most part I only have fantasy minis and props, so I've started working on some 2.5D spaceship tiles (using a modified AJ method) To break up the tile making process however, I've started making other papercraft props for the game. The first is the "Medium Transport Floater" from Ebbles Miniatures, which I got for free from www.genetmodels.com/ebbles-miniatures-2005-2006-models/The model is printed on cardstock from an inkjet. It took 2 pages to print out. The only other tools I used were a metal ruler, an xacto knife, elmers glue, and a few hours earlier tonight. Working on the bottom Top with nose attached And the finished unit from four different angles with SpaceBugbears for scale:

What? No hot glue??? Ack!
This looks pretty cool. It passes the "I wanna play with that" test with ease.

That's awesome. I love paper craft for sci-fi. The hard edges are perfect to that genre. You've done a damn fine job on that transport/floater.
And now I need to make some SpaceBugbears. Those need to be a thing in my Star Wars game.

These are not the droids you are "UNGH!!" looking for
He he,
Jedi's use the Force... Space bugbears use the Excecive Force
I like it.

Bugbears... Woookies... what's the difference says I? They are both really tall and prone to ripping your arms off at the slightest provocation.

The only difference is it's funnier when you say "let the wookie win"

I like Ebbles cardstock models, have quite a few of them myself, even have built quite a few as well! One suggestion though which will me a good model even better, take a black Sharpie and color the edges of the cardstock so you cover up the white where the ink didn't get printed. It's amazing how much better a model looks when that is done.
Good job with the build otherwise.
