Howdy,
This is just so awesome, I am reluctant to suggest any improvement. However it occurred to me that he should have a small bench with tools for the quick fix, heel repair, etc. Perhaps on the very back of the wagon?
Kev!

Wow, that is amazing! At first when I saw the horse and cart, I thought they were from that Mega-Minis series of miniatures that was out a few years ago. I had collected a bunch of townsfolk minis from that line before they discontinued and remember a horse driven cart with a vendor selling his wares.
I am def going to have to do the cart as I have a bunch of pewter horse minis (also from the Mega series) and that will be a great addition.
Taking boots off the plastic army men was a great idea. Plus you have arms, legs, heads that you can use. Maybe a future prop like the adventurers show up right after a battle has taken place and there are scores of dead bodies and parts all over the place. A fresh massacre where the enemy showed no mercy whatsoever in chopping up their victims.
Oh and an Exalt too!

That is a good idea...however are you suggesting that Berwyn isn't offering quality boots? Are you spreading rumors that his boots fall apart 5 minutes after you buy them? "No boots for you! Next!"

There Townsfolk lines were the best! (Why the hell don't more companies offer them? How many human male full-plate with sword options do I really need? I feel like 400 is enough)

#2 - The Hatter. Get noticed with a fancy new hat! Perfect for keeping the sun off your face or keeping your head warm on those cold winter nights. Plenty of styles and sizes to choose from. Get yours today! The Walk-through: I started with a Mad Hatter and Jericho hero-clix. I put the Mad Hatter's hands on the Jericho clix. I also cut the Hatter's hat off... we will use that later. The best part is no repainting. Most of the hats I'm using came from a hat set from Reaper. The rest were from other hero clix or minis. Start with a couple pieces of fireplace matchsticks and a couple pieces of craft sticks. Glue two fireplace matchsticks to each end of the craft stick. Next, glue the remaining two craft sticks to the two leg pieces. Cut out a piece of card stock. This will be the roof. Hot glue the roof on. Then trim off the excess card stock. Measure the distance between the posts (legs) and cut three stir sticks to that dimension. Glue two longer stir sticks to each side of it. These will be the three counter tops for the booth. Lay out the counter tops in their proper locations. Then mark the 45 degree angle (miter) that will need to be cut to allow the counter tops to line up. Cut the miters and test fit. I added some hot glue texture to the roof. To make the front and sides of the booth, glue 4 stir sticks together. You will need to do this two times. Cut the front and glue it on. Cut the sides and glue them on. Take three pieces of fireplace matchsticks and glue them to the insides of the tree walls. They should be even with the top of the front and two sides. These form a ledge for the counter tops to sit on. Glue on the counter tops. Just for a little interest, I hot glued on some pieces of string in the four corners. A PVA glue/water soaked paper towel forms the canvas roof. Paint to taste. I used a dab of glue to glue down each hat. 1st rule of the DMsCraft (or is it the 5th rule), "why build one when you can build two?"

Thanks, Drak. You are absolutely right, of course. I see that now, a little hair around the hooves and it WOULD be a Clydesdale! Where the hell were you with that knowledge last night?!?! Please don't make me give up my Krull membership card... I think I like the horse as a sign better than as a cart puller anyway, but it's always good to know how I screwed up. It's never a screwup dude when it comes to a crafting experience....It's crafters XP's!!! Crafter's exp! My favorite kind of XP!

1st rule of the DMsCraft (or is it the 5th rule), "why build one when you can build two?" HAHA! I thought the 1st rule of the DM's Craft was"There are no rules?"

1st rule of the DMsCraft (or is it the 5th rule), "why build one when you can build two?" This works both so you don't have to build another stall for the next merchant, or just in case you screw up or break the first.

I have a several ideas already in the queue, but I just added "fish monger" to the list. In fact, I think I saw a small pack of plastic fish at the dollar store....the very same dollar store that I pass by this afternoon. I will swing in and check. Thanks and great idea!

Curufin, great work. It is a joy to look at.
One idea came to mind, small one, but it would add variety to your stalls. Install some poles to make an awning coming out of a stall. On a hot dusty day, offering a shady spot to weary would-be buyers (while they browse) is definitely a plus.
Oh, I'll add to your list as well. Traveling minstrel and a circus.

Just about any era is covered for fighters and wizards and gunmen and thugs. But used car salesmen and bartenders and merchant vendors and spaceship mechanics are damn near impossible to find.

Excellent! This market is looking mighty fine. Your skills with Popsicle sticks is nothing short of genius. Three larger sized vendors should fill up a space quite nicely, but I just know you're going to make more.

Thanks, Michka! I have 8 more vendors on the list. I need to pick up the pace so I can get on with some other crafts that are piling up. I have a tauster sized to-do list happening here.
