Howdy, Looks like the pics are now in a sub album "Dungeon Walls", where as when you first put them in they were not? Edit your post and go to the bbcode tab. you will see "Dungeon%20Walls/" missing from the img src= on the broken ones... Kev!

That is a damn fine boat!

Actually... it's a terrible boat.
It's a damn fine terrain piece, but it would make a terrible boat. That thing would sink faster than Megan Fox's acting career.

I think it fits the bill as an LOS blocker and it fits in with the other stuff I have on the board!

Hopefully everyone gets that I was attempting a joke with my last post. I just reread it and realized that it could come off as me being critical of the work... which is certainly not the case!

No problemo! It would make a terrible boat. When I look at it I see the SS Minnow! Lolol

Your stuff is so amazing! I checked out Frostgrave reviews on Amazon and it looks really good. Only concern is I get the feeling it is better suited for 4 player campaigns vs. 2 player skirmishes?
I like the idea of a Wizard warband leader and all the various spells the wizard can have -- sounds fun. So far, I have been intending on starting with Song of Blades and Heroes... unless you think this Frostgrave would be more fun for me to learn first? (Keeping in mind I will only have one other player to play with -- namely my nephew who seems really interested in it.)
What do ya think?

Jennifer I would suggest Frostgrave to an eskimo! It is a skirmish game with an RPG feel. There is another game out there called 2 hour dungeon crawls. It is perfect in the fact you do not need a DM to play it and if you are alone it can be played solo. So far Frostgrave really hasn't gone down into the depths yet.I am jumping the gun by pushing for dungeoneering. I am thinking of a hybrid tho. FG with the playability of 2Hour Dungeon Crawl

The new wreck looks amazing, and I second Frostgrave over SOBH.

SOBH is a really good system. I think it has to do with the fact that Frostgrave is the new game all the cool kids play! Lolol Just a simple system that I may also add needs some more tweaking. I think the fix is in when a game gets put out and it feels great but also incomplete. That way the writers get to put out expansions at will. Drives up sales and keeps interest high!

SOBH is getting an updated edition sometime soon with their advanced ruleset that was kickstarted recently. I've been holding off with frostgrave because the bits I've looked through annoy me about the limits of what advances in a campaign. I've liked Mordheim and Gorkamorka where your entire force can get better as you work to keep them alive in an almost X-Com sort of way. Frostgrave limits that to the wizards...

I bought the Frostgrave Rule Book. I will get it soon. The game seems fun -- watched a few videos of people playing it; one of them being the one with the "Murder Mice" -- I just got those miniatures from reaper btw (the set of ten).
Btw, what did you use for the icing on all that stonework? A baking soda, paint & pva glue mixture?
EDIT: Just got the book. Wow! The binding is sewn, it's a nice comfortable size to hold, pages are white with black print (great contrast making it easy to read), superb artwork! LOVE this book. Much better than any D&D manual I've seen since the original 1st edition manual.
What do you think about the idea of using 2d10 instead of d20 for rolls? That way it is less swingy? Or does a 1 need to be able to be rolled?

Frostgraves unofficialy Offical Message board is Lead Adventure Forum The game Author, Joseph McCullen frequents the Forstgrave section and answers question in the rules thread. There is a thread discussing 2d10. Long story short, 2d10 results in longer drawn out fights, that tie more often and do less damage per roll. Personally, that just sounds terrible to me.

Having experimented with the 2D10 idea Adam is dead on! It makes armor a bit more useful but the combats get draggy and if you dont use the crit hit rule it can be a long night!
