I saw this several months ago and forgot to post it here. These are D&D Achievements (not unlike achievements from video games) and they are hilarious. It got me thinking that it could be a great idea to introduce into a game... especially if the players are unaware that you are doing it. The only thing that I would have like better, was if they were geared a little more toward 3.x/pathfinder. So I set off to make some of my own. I came up with 80 and I assigned a very small amount of xp for getting each achievement. Here are the ones that I created in PDF. Also pictured below:

This is hilarious and an absolutely great idea. I might try that out as well. Once the player know that these exist they're might going to try out more funny and crazy stuff during the game.

its good incentive considering the players mostly want more XP to level faster. never tryed it, cause i like more focused stories. but combat wise, these cheeves makes all the difference.

To rip off the Lord of the Rings movies:
[Gandalfisms] Fly you fools, FLY! - Cast your first fly spell. Fool of a Took! - First time doing something INCREDIBLY stupid. Speak Friend and Enter - Cast your first knock spell on an unlocked door. You Shall Not Pass! - Cast your fist Wizard Lock Spell. It is the stuff of wizards - Make up some nonsense, explaining something you don't understand as being "magic". Surely you wouldn't deprive an old man of his walking stick - Fast talk some guard into letting you keep your weapon. Seeking the help of Elrond, of Rivendale - Screw something up and asking the help of an NPC to fix it. The Mines of Moria - Knowing something is a REALLY BAD IDEA...and yet doing it anyway. Let the Ring Bearer make the choice - First time passing the buck to another character.
[General} The all seeing eye, wreathed in flame - Getting caught fudging a die roll by the DM.
Down Down to Goblin Town - First time your character goes "slumming".
The One Ring - Getting your first magic ring.
The Giant Eagles - First time the DM just says "screw it" and pulls some NPCs out of thin air to save your bacon.
The Lonely Mountain - After a hard fought battle, you realize you are the only one left alive. =(
The Desolation of Smaug - After fighting an epic battle to save a village, you realize that the village was totally destroyed during the course of the battle. =(
A Balrog has come - You fight your very first boss fight.
The Sword of Omens - The first time you make an out-of-context reference in game, such as tossing in a Thundercats reference when making a Lord of the Rings list.
Grimer Wormtongue - Getting bogged down in bureaucratic red tape, filling out scrolls, paying fees/taxes, standing in long lines, talking to petty officials only to be told you are talking to the wrong official and you need to go stand in another long line.
Helmsdeep - The first time you intentionally run into a dead end, with no escape, and actually pretend its a good idea.
The Black Riders - First time you get caught by the DM making a racist remark about an enemy..."That isn't PC, we don't say 'black' anymore. You have to call them African-American Riders now".
Professional Burglar - First time you argue the point that seeking out and murdering NPCs and monsters...with the intention of stealing their stuff...isn't a "bad" thing.
The Light of Dawn - The first time you realize that D&D trolls don't care about the light of day because this isn't Middle Earth.
My Precious - The First time you murder a fellow party member...just to take his stuff.
The Crack of Doom - First time you walk across a lava bridge and realize that if solid rock is so hot, that it melts, the tremendous heat given off by it would have deep fried you by now. Oh well, what the DM and other players don't know about geothermal dynamics won't hurt you in game. =D
