You have some beautiful minis there. Your skills are fantastic for someone just getting started. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
I tend to go for the more bright colors when I paint, but that's the style I've had for years. The one cardinal rule for painting for me is keep consistent. Your skills will naturally grow, but so long as the style stays similar the group of minis will look like they come from the same world.

My browser just decided to delete my almost complete post from the editor with all the new pictures and now I had to do it all over again Thanks a lot Chrome. As promised here are all the new miniatures I have painted so far! They are still missing a nice base but I'm just getting into that right now Well without further ado, here are my newly painted minis: I guess that is it for now. In between taking all those pictures and finally uploading them I have already painted more minis so there are definitely more updates to come!

WOW! These are great Alexis! I love your ghosts, i did one recently but he didn't end up like i wanted. Also, i have those wizards from GW too (painted them a while ago), but i think i'll have to repaint them now. Yours are looking way better than mine. Can't wait to see what you post here next.

Awesome stuff, you really got great painting skills. But what I like most is your way of playing with color schemes, because that's how you learn them most.

Wow. Just wow. You have a lot of skill shown here. I love the skeletons. They're vibrant without loosing their undead vibe, and the ghosts are amazing. I should also mention that your photography skills are pretty damn good too.

Very nice painting, especially at this volume, and ESPECIALLY from a new painter. You're a natural. I'm generally not a GW fan, but I love the look of their Hobbit and LotR minis. Seems they went with a more realistic, less exaggerated scale than their regular line. Been considering getting a set of Uruk Hai for hobgoblins and Mordor Orcs to replace my awful Mantics. I've read their rather brittle though. Have you had any trouble with breakage?
Anyway, thanks for sharing. In for more.

Thank you :-) The GW minis I have are plastic models and so far I had no breakage. But I was also handling them carefully. Well one or two also fell on the floor and they're fine. I don't really have a comparison yet though because I have only painted GW minis so far. I don't really have easy access to other stuff. But I'm happy with the ones I picked.

Absolutly incredible. You seem to have a good grasp on the process. I'm still stuggling with my miniature painting. Thank you for sharing. EXALT

You know . . . after seeing how your first minis turned out I am jealous, but relieved. Relieved because if I painted like that (not to mention starting out like that) I would have sold the house and filled my cardboard box with more minis to paint. Probably could make a cool box to live in tho. Maybe DM Scotty can make that his next video.
Awesome job. Very inspiring!!

And yeah I thought about doing something like that but I don't even have a house to sell ;-) maybe I should just quit college and start painting minis as a job ;-P

I have seen people selling minis that did not look as good as yours for outrageous prices on eBay. Seriously, I enjoy your pics, and can't wait to see more.

AWESOME job. You did a better job on this than most "professionally" painted minis I've seen. It looks so organic and natural. Keep it up. Very much so. That's why I repainted Heroclix in my recent thread.
