I had a dollar-store dinosaur so I turned it into something I'd actually use! I'm pretty happy with it, for my first try. The head and tail are Crayola Model Magic, as are the horns. The armor plates are cardstock from a tissue box covered in hot glue. The eyes are a red glass bead. Any pointers or critisism? I had trouble with the head; I feel that the face is too cute. The picture in the Pathfinder Bestiary doesn't give much to go by. Thanks!

Wow! Not familiar with the monster, at all, but it is a neat creation, nonetheless. If the artwork you based it off of is lacking in details, so much the better -- you get to fill in the blanks as you see fit, and no one can fault you! Very impressive monster, no matter the source material. Never would have thought to do such a conversion, had I not been shown the way... Thank you for the inspiration! Cheers!

Thanks, sgtslag!
If I could go back and change anything (other than the cutie-face), I'd make more places to stand on his back; maybe just a few flatter panels. One of my PCs climbed on his tail in order to do touch-attack spells!

Nice job, I am really big on inventing new creatures to keep the players on their toes. That thing would terrorize my players =)

Actually, I happen to like the face; its relative blankness emphasises the rest of the creature's terrifying bulk.

That looks great. And scary:-). Please post more pictures, closeups of the head and body. Superconversion, wish you had some before and after pictures. And yes, you should enter it into the MiniWar. Fairly sure this would be able to do some mass destruction, when it was in a bad mood:-)

Thanks, everyone! johnp, I'll keep the before/after pictures in mind next time I do a conversion. I have one in mind for the BBEG in my campaign. The behemoth caused some destruction in my campaign, tunneling perpendicularly through Drow corridors. I'm about to go enter it into the mini-war...

Exalt. Nice (huge?) beast. The cardstock on his back is what I think turned out the best. Looks really strong and pops well. Good going, man!

Sweet! Never heard of the thunder behemoth but now methinks I need a herd of them.

Saw a couple more of that same stego at Goodwill. Should I pick them up? Maybe fit one with a howdah?
