Unfortunately you can't attach an image straight to the forum (if that's what you were trying) as it's reached it's image attachment limit. You have to use an image website like www.photobucket.com. If you've already done that you'll see an small icon like a landscape picture along the icons just above the text box you're typing in. If you click that a dialogue box will pop up and you need to past in the link to your image from your chosen image hosting website. Hope that makes sense!

They may be too young (8-adult) for Fluxx (Target Exclusive is a Cartoon Network Fluxx). Will keep them nerdy and help with reading. Also might be worth checking out a cooperative board game (Forbidden Island is right around $20) and should be easy enough to teach to younglings their age.

Nice to see others getting their kids in young. I started mine with Hero Kids also. This pic was about a year ago before I had gotten back into DMing. I wasn't crafting yet and didn't have cases full of minis yet either. They also enjoy Mice & Mystics. I bought them Dungeon Defenders for Christmas but we still haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Corrupting the youth.. Impressive.. most impressive
I find that playing with my kids is more fun than other groups I've played in. It seems that kids are more in touch with their imagination. Heck, half the time I just watch them make up the quests and run the monsters they want to fight. Its a lot of fun.

I totally agree with the kids are more in touch with their imaginations. My son is the same way, though he does use my tiles for race tracks lololol.....

My Boys are grown men now, but those early AD&D games is how they learned to love fantasy, developed their imaginations & senses of humor, AND grew to be friends & brothers in the true sense of the word. Of course, to me they're still boys, but somethings never change. Thanks for a trip down Memory Lane.

My daughters use my tiles for Monster high adventures. I think they get more use out of the things than I do.

my boy is 3 yrs now. he's growing up with stories from the beginning (we have to read him several of his books each day). He showed interest in letters some months ago (and got some letter-related toys when he did), now he makes his first playful spelling attempts. I guess it won't be long until I have to separate my roleplaying library and put the dark fantasy and horror stuff on the upper shelves...

Also keep your collection of unopened Star Wars action figures as high up as possible. I used to have quite a collection. Key words: "used to"
