That would be spectacular! I just recently started looking for custom tables. They are ridiculously expensive.

Super craftsmanship. Had been thinking about putting drawers in my table. This is so awesome, will look at my tables possibilities tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.

The DM get two drawers to store all manner of gaming resources. curufin, where did you get those tokens in the drawer? I am looking for something like to show status. Did you make them or buy them, and if you made them where did you get the tokens themselves from? I am guessing from the blanks that you made them. Would love to see/know more about them. They look like a great solution.

Awesome. So you put the metal bases on all your minis also? Looking through their site I would have to make my own Edge Marks. We play 1st and 2nd Edition AD&D and most of those marks are pretty worthless for us. Nothing some clear vinyl and a printer can't fix. Thanks for the link, I think I might have to get some. Just spent about $400 on new minis this month so I might give it a short break first but it's on my hit list.

Yes. It is a stick-on magnetic receptive material that can be cut with sissors. A lot of the Alea kits come with it, but I found a large chunk of the stuff on another website. It took a long time to apply it to several hundred minis, but it was well worth it.
I did make a lot of condition edge marks. The ones available were for 4th Edition (which I don't play). So I made the ones I needed.
The tokens are dry/wet erase, so you can just write on them too.

Well if nothing else I might just start with about 20 white ones and buy the edge marks for numbers. Make it easier to keep track of multiple monsters in combat. Then I can expand from there. The ultimate kits are nice but they have way more variety than I need. For 2E I will NEVER need that many markers at any one time. Really only need number markers and then occasional markers for poisoned, held, paralyzed, etc. I am betting two 10 packs of white for numbers and a GM Pack of 6 colors with 4 of each in it (24 total colored) would be more than enough for me.

Exactly. I have multiple minis that are exactly same (several orcs, skeletons, man-at-arms etc). The white ones with numbers help me out so much. And a couple colored ones can be anything: Grey= statues, held, petrified. Green= entangled, poisoned. Blue= flying, swimming. Red= fire. Purple=charmed.
Probably the most useful thing to do as a wizard is to draw a straight line on the top of a token near an edge. Place your wizard mini on it and now you know precisely where the shield is from the shield spell. No more arguing.

The moment when you see this... And you look at your table and think: "Is this even a table?"

a table can have the form you want it to be. love the idea of tokens under the mini to say which is which, that way your minis do not lose value.

I'm kind of embarrassed that I haven't written anything in this thread yet because this table is some amazing work. Great design, and the workmanship looks like a high end pro job. Ex+Alt

Crap. I said I would get some table dimensions and instructions for building this gaming table... and totally forgot. Ill try to get some together... A couple of pictures of the underside would help a lot. I'm interested in seeing how you did the player's drawer slides, the frame that holds the table top, and how the legs connect to the frame. Great project. I really like the rolling carts!
