I needed some spiders for a game on short notice. Found these baddies, 25 for a buck, at the dollar store. I whipped up six real quick. Yes paint is cruddy, but I made the best I could with what I had.If you have seen my 2d tree post (maybe another not sure) you may see the spiders in other photos. Sorry if there is a repeat photo. You can drop those spiders in hot water for a couple minutes and reshape the legs to more 3 dimensional.
I get a lot of stuff like that at dollar stores and I am lucky to have a US Toy nearby where you can get all the bugs, lizards, snakes, dinosaurs etc. on the cheap.

Yes this is a great idea for when I make a set of spiders that are crawling over rocks. I want them in different poses.

I have taken spiders like that and cut their heads off and replaced them with the waist-up section of an elf or gnome miniature to create driders.
