Here are my basic 2d trees and shrubs.I'm sure you have seen these before as they were taken directly from DM Scotty's vids. I love how quick these are to make. (please keep in mind I have only been crafting a short time. I know these are basic, but playability is awesome.) Thanks for looking. Cheers! imgur.com/a/lnrLt

Howdy,
Great work on the trees, and I especially like the green spaces with shrubbery.
Bring me shrubbery!
Kev!

basic stuff is all you really need for play ! i made a few of those trees myself, to put above my trunks that i actually use. that way if my players climbs in tree i can put some perch over.

Nicely done! I especially like the sponge paint job for the green spaces.

There in nothing wrong with basic. They look great! Though I might be worried about that forest fire you have going on there.

Nicely done! I especially like the sponge paint job for the green spaces. Heya Daveb; the green spaces were based black (spray paint), used a medium sized brush and stippled the paint with a forest green, then a lighter green. Thanks for the comments! Cheers.

Looking good... and viewing all those photos gave me an idea... thinking I could make some that are tree on one side and simple greenery on the other - two sided tiles like that could be used for trees or flipped over for hills, with little storage space needed. Would just have to plan the hot glue usage so they don't wobble and aren't too thick.

now thats a good idea, i could also use the back of my trees and other tiles... yes i can see it now. my building tiles flipping for some dock styles or beach styles. my trees flipping for sand pits or hills like you said.

Jealous. The dollar stores here never have aquarium plants.

I'm kinda lucky here. We have several dollar stores. Everything from the 'big box' dollar stores of different names, all the way down to the mom and pop dollar store. (usually 1-4 dollars here. Whenever I find aquarium stuff I scoop it up. Nothing lately though. I might just paint some of the ones I have. Maybe snip off the round end or even make my own out of old paint brushes.
