Some of my pieces wind up with a bend in the middle. It topples minis and looks plain silly. Is there any way of fixing this? Any and all info is greatly appreciated!

Flip it so the bulge is facing downwards and put a book ontop of it.
If you used spray paint on the pieces to base paint them, it doesn't warp as much if at all compared to basecoating by brush

I find that weight and time works the best. I typically take large pieces of cardboard and put an MDF board on them. I leave it there until I need a piece of cardboard for a tile. When I take a piece, I put a new one under the board. This way I always start with a flat piece of cardboard. Of course, hot glue, humid days, paint, and even heat from the sun can warp it again. when my tile is done I put it under a board to flatten it back out.

I agree with DM Scotty. You can have multiple creases on the back and they don't normally show on the front. You can actually be quite rough. I end up bending tiles all the way around and they sit quite nicely. If it is a crease along a corrugation, insert a skewer in to reform it. You can even leave the skewer there.
