Howdy, Here is something I sketched out... The idea is to have the dice towers spit the dice out through the portcullis onto the drawbridge and reach through the portcullis to get the dice for the next roll. With the walls having the GM charts and what not. I found the body of the two litre useful to make uniform outer sleeves...and a prototype... I used a cardboard tube out of some clingwrap or something?, a little bigger around than a paper towel tube to make the inner sleeves. cardboard bits step down the spiral two full turns. The spirals slide into the outer sleeve. Cover with foam core carved into bricks. That's all I have so far, Kev!

Well... Really Cool idea, and very simple and you can recicle stuff you havê at home. For people who dont have foram, they can just out sculpy all around the tower and make some 'risos' Hope you understand

On the DM viewing side, I wonder if you could attach fancy themed paper holders or even just glue an 8.5x11 plastic transparency so you can add and remove rules as you want.

Nice! I'm guessing you haven't got the towers attached to the base, correct?

think i'll create myself some dice rollers too, ever since i saw some people play with them. better then having the dices roll outside the table.

They're really useful when playing miniatures games: most folks roll dice across the table, slamming them into figures, and making a right mess. This is especially true with buckets-O-dice games, like what I play... I don't use mine all the time, but I do use it often. Cheers!

Howdy, Uh...d4's would definitely get stuck, so d12 and divide by 3 Kev!

Howdy, but do you round up or down ? 1-3 =1 4-6=2 7-9=3 10-12=4 also works for d3 or d6 all with excellent "rolling" characteristics, d12 "rolls" better than d6 or d4 IMNSHO, Kev!

Howdy, Decided the walls needed to be anchored somehow, and am going with buttress/towers at the corners fashioned from cardboard sleeves made to hold reference materials... Craftification, Kev!

hey I recognize that design. The exterior looks like a larger version of the dm's keep you can buy for like $140(WWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE). but with this idea, You could not only make the screen to fit your style, you also have a nice foundation for a spiral stair case in the event you ever want to do a tower run of some sort. It's actually something I was pawning around in my head on how to make it look good and seeing how you did it, I think I have my idea.
