Greetings! I needed some myconoids for my Twisted Cavern Project and failed to find anything I liked or wanted to pay for, so I decided to craft my own. This project is fairly simple and requires only a few things. Materials I used were: 1 cheap plastic mushroom green stuff paperclips Various tools Lots of patience! Inspirational image: The starting point! The next few pictures are cataloging the work as I patiently sculpted the body with green stuff. I was going to enter this puppy into the mini war but did not finish it in time. I have five more in various stages of production, my goal is to have six of them. Hope you enjoyed my crafting!

Looks great! I used the same image as a basis for the one I sculpted as well.

I read your project log and frustrations! I feel you there brother. Green stuff can be frustrating to work with! Patience is your friend! You said it took you roughly 45 minutes to work my man above us - it took me a week. You build one small part and then wait for it to dry and harden, then fashion the next. Green stuff you cannot rush! For example, I worked my face, let it dry, then worked on single leg, let it dry, etc. Good news, you can sand finger prints off (been there, done that!) and use your handy xacto knife to sculpt the dry stuff by whittling pieces of and sanding. I see an old venerable elder myconoid in myconoid number one!

Excellent modelling, they look like fun-guys to meet in the underdark. I'm on the look out for acorn cups to try out tauser's (qv)idea for mushrooms. Love it!!!!!
