Over at Dollar Tree, I found these Halo "pods." Each one had a "big head" Halo mini in it. I gave those to my grandson. I kept the packaging. (Isn't that ironic?) The pods are very cool on the table. A mini in "suspended animation" fits inside nicely. I made a mold out of the top. Very sci fi. I made a master out of some plastic bits I had lying around. This mold looks like it could be used to make columns or fuel cans or whatever. Multipurpose. First project -- glue the top of the Halo pod to the base. It makes an awesome control panel.

That is freakin sweet! I love finding the little things that work for a build. I see you used legos for the mold form. Nicely done, and it seems to be the perfect scale!

the top also looks big enough to do a base for a mini. Great find!

That scale of casting would be ideal for gelatin casting.
