In "The Dragon Masters," Jack Vance mentions a massive beast called a Jugger. A dragon of sorts. When I saw this toy from the "How to Train Your Dragon" movies, I knew I had to repaint him to be a Jugger. In this case, he will be an alien "dragon" monster that my PCs may have to tangle with during our Hulks and Horrors game. Here he is at the start. I've filled in his screw holes with epoxy putty and I've held his mouth open with the stuff, adding a scruff to his neck. More to come.

I didn't dig out my copy of The Dragon Masters to check this, but Wikipedia says Juggers are grey in color and can wield weapons. I decided to make him silvery - kinda like laser protection. I also found some Tyrannid arms in my bits box. Here he is - phase 2. I'm planning to "cat" or "snake" up his eyes, but I'm not good at eyes so....

Looks awesome! I'm planning to "cat" or "snake" up his eyes, but I'm not good at eyes so.... Painter's tape stencil. ...if that's too chunky, try artist stencil tape from the craft store.

What an improvement already! Those blank eyes look pretty scary. Have you considered goat or toad eyes? They're pretty freaky and look kind of evil. AJ has done a great Eye Tutorial that may be useful (thanks, AJ!)
