wow...
If I would have a chance of using those houses in my games, I'd build a dozen of them or more, beginning today. Sadly, I don't need houses on my gaming table anytime soon, and I have neither time nor storage space to build them just for fun. But what a fun that would be... *sigh*

I'm going to make a point here from a wargaming perspective. Less is more when it comes to tabletop space, and storage. How many buildings are in a village? 3 or 4 basic houses, a tavern and a blacksmith would do just fine. Maybe even a small temple. Add a few walls and a statue or fountain in the square and you have a very presentable village that gets the idea across just fine. Using the paper mache bird houses are an excellent idea!
