Hi, I made a video about my Unicorn Glade. its in German with english subtitel. My english is bad, im sure I have a lot of grammatical errors in the subtitel. my spoken english is even worse, so I didnt try to torture you with it. Oh my God, in such a video my fingers look like sauages. Do the Pros of youtube-crafting videos make a script what they talk. Sometimes I search for words and stammer around or talk some nonsens like "with this bushes you could make a lot of...ehh...bushes." I think about making more videos like this. More crafting, for example, crafting the mushrooms, crafting of my catacombs or crafting of my armored worms. Is there a interest for such a thing or do you think that its to laborious to follow the subtitel. Thank you.

Do it in German. However, think about how you could do it with no talking. Then the language will make no difference.

First of all, making these kinds of presentations gets easier in time.
Second, having made videos in a foreign language was a real eye opening experience to me. I use to think that I spoke English pretty well, perhaps with a slight American accent (from having watched too many American movies). Having actually recorded it and heard over and over again during editing, I realised that my spoken English was no better than that of your average Danish tour guide. And I definitely have a very clear and distinct Danish accent. A lot of the things that I spoke of sounded a lot better in my head. So I will definitely think twice before I make fun of people bad English accents.
I also agree with DMG. Try to find a way to do them without talking.
Alternatively, you could record the video without speech, and then afterwards do a narration from a written script. That way you could have “word” find and correct some of grammatical errors and you wouldn’t be “stumbling” around looking for words.

Never be embarrassed about your language skills! Making the attempt is better than not doing it at all. Very nice work by the way!

Never be embarrassed about your language skills! Making the attempt is better than not doing it at all. Very nice work by the way! Exactly. And I think the people on this forum are kind and understanding enough that they can easily see past it and focus on the meaning of what you're trying to say, rather than how well you say it.
