I love making big monsters. They are the easiest to paint and they make a big impact on the table. I started this guy as soon as I saw the DMScotty vid, but I didn't finish him until today. I learned a few lessons and I have one tweak to add to the build. Pics and commentary below! When you build this beast, DEFINITELY remember to stuff the tubes with paper. This really helps with the crushing. I missed this subtle point when I watched DMScotty's vid. Don't forget. DMScotty made some wonderful sculpted back plates for his worm. I'm a bit lazy and I like to try things, so I used a punch. I cut the square in half to make triangles. I folded them with a ridge using needlenose pliers. I think they turned out well. Here's the punch -- top and bottom.

Very cool. I definitely need to do one of these at some point.

Good job! Great idea to use the punch to help make the plates along the back!
