It was an ugly brown. I mounted it to a wooden disk so it wouldn't fall over and I used a little texture paste to roughen up the base.

I'm showing my cultural ignorance. Apparently little tiki statues are a thing onto themselves. I've only ever seen them at walmart in the pet section. But apparently many tourists bring them back from Hawaii.
