So in essence what you create would be a supporting lattice of cardboard strips about 2" by whatever length you need to support the flat of the level. This then gets a covering of paper towels soaked in water and glue to shape the sides. Each level actually cosists of a slightly larger base that the lattice is glued onto, and then the top is glued into place. Stack them up and you have a mountain. Cave openings could be made by using wet toilet tissue or paper towels to form an opening.
